From November 1 logistic company “Delivery” renews tariffs for transportation services in Ukraine, reviews pallet price-list and imposes new tariffication on address logistic.
The changes are related to increase of expenses for providing of logistic and transport processes including increase of fuel costs: thus, only for the last 2 months the price of gas oil across Ukraine increased for 19%, herewith “Delivery” decided to raise tariffs only for 5%.
After analysis of the updates, by evaluation of the company itself, “Delivery” prices remain the most reasonable at the market. In particular minimal price for transportation of 1 kg cargo will be only 1.95 UAH. (“LT” zone within a framework of one region), and minimal price for transportation of 1 m3 cargo will be 500 UAH. Transportation of 500 kg europallet at the most popular direction “Kyiv - Odesa” will cost 850 UAH. Besides, price for transportation of documents and small cargo - parcels under 30 kg will be changed too. Thus, the customer will pay less than 25 UAH for dispatching of documents with weight under 0.5 kg across Ukraine, and for dispatching of parcels with weight from 2 kg to 30 kg the customer will pay from 25 UAH to 85 UAH.
As from January to October 2018 each fourth pickup or delivery through “Delivery” was done to the address, the company decided to widen tariffication of address logistic. The most important innovation is introduction of price-list for pallet transportation on “Warehouse - Doors”, “Doors - Warehouse”, “Doors - Doors” system. The new pallet price-list suggests address pickup or delivery of europallets and americans from 80 kg to 1,250 kg.
The clients are offered with transparent structure of pricing which allows to plan and control expenses, what means to optimize logistics as it is.

In the first 9 months of 2018, the clients of Delivery have sent 201 192 tons of cargo, which is 10% more than in the same period of 2017. On average, only in the mixed cargo segment (weight more than 30 kg) dispatches per day amounted to about 19,000. At the same time, the average weight of 1 unit of cargo reached almost 50 kg. From the beginning of the year, the majority of dispatches were carried out from Kiev to other major cities of Ukraine: Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia.
The segment of address logistics continued to grow in the company. Thus, in Q3 2018, every fourth dispatch in the company was delivered or picked up from the client’s address. This is 11% more than in the same period last year. The positive trend was also seen in the systematic enlargement of client’s cargo: the average weight of 1 receipt increased by 23%, and the average weight of 1 dispatch increased by 24%, reaching up to 137 kg and 237 kg respectively.
The development of the representative network of the company united the opening of own warehouses and warehouses operating under a franchise. Only from the beginning of 2018, the company opened 31 new representative offices, and from July to September - 8 representative offices, thus increasing the number of collection points in Ukraine up to 316.
The greatest activity in the development of branches was seen in the western and eastern regions of Ukraine. At the same time, the long-term strategy of Delivery implies an increase in the number of branches in regional centers, as well as expansion of the network to the level of regional centers, cities and towns, where the company was not represented before. In the near future, the most attractive for opening representative offices are cities in the western region (Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi region), in the southern region (Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kherson region) and in the central region (Chernihiv, Poltava, Sumy region), as well as in Kiev city.
The real insurance, realized through partnership with “Kvorum” Insurance Company, allowed to increase the share of cargo insured in Delivery up to 70%, the amount of the insured cargo increased by 30%, compared to July-September 2017. At the same time, according to the most conservative estimates, the potential of full insurance of the cargo transported by the company from January 2018 is estimated at level of more than 7 billion UAH.
Delivery announced launch of the project in Q3 in support of the construction industry in Ukraine. Within the scope of the “Construction Price”, the company linked the transportation cost of construction materials dispatch to the quantity of the transported cargo, and not to its weight or volume. The payment is made per unit of cargo, under uniform rate without reference to the tariff zones. No receipt issuance fee. "Construction price" applies to send: stairs, liquid construction materials (varnishes, paints, primers, adhesive materials, coating and grouting materials), loose mixtures in bags, sections, baseboards, worktops, laminate and parquet, tiles, sound-proof materials, various types of meshes (wire-mesh, galvanized mesh, etc.), floating / plaster ceilings, corrugated pipe for electricity, and also drain and sewer plastic pipes.
The company has also launched an updated service for the delivery of goods from American online stores Delivery Shop since September. Now the service provides for two types of purchases: classic forwarding and purchase of goods with delivery to the nearest branch of Delivery. Delivery rating starts from 0.5 kg of the actual weight of the goods, amounting to $ 3.4 respectively. In order to combine several orders that are in the warehouse of US company in one package, Delivery offers to use the Consolidation of Cargo service, thus reducing the transportation cost for the client.
From July to September, more than 400 business clients have joined the loyalty program Delivery Group Club, and the overall number of registered companies reached 4373. Among the available innovations of bonus rewards for regular clients is the ability to change the accumulated points for OSAGO insurance (third-party insurance) provided by the “Kvorum” Insurance Company.
The plans of Delivery for Q4 2018 is mainly focused on reviewing the work of transit warehouses and the on time delivery of cargo, improvement of security level.
