The carriers have the opportunity to offer online their free transport

The management company Delivery Group provided an opportunity for carriers to offer online their free transport for Delivery trips. After completing the application on the website, a logistics specialist of the office contacts the owner of a hired transport: he determines the data and confirms the trip.

This service is implemented on the company's website in the section "Carrier's Personal Area. This mobile workplace was launched in October this year, specifically to increase the speed of communication between the logistics company and the owners of hired transport, speed up the process of hiring of vehicles and transportation of goods to clients. Among the main opportunities of the Personal Area are operative management of trips, document flow, control of payments, as well as access to the indicators of the carrier's vehicles and drivers in real time. 

Carrier's Personal Area contains three large units.

UNIT 1. "Search for vehicles". On this page, the company posts information in real time about the available cargoes and the routes planned for the carriage of goods. Based on the data, the carrier chooses the most interesting proposal. The service is free of charge.

Main features:

  • Schedule of open routes of the company in Ukraine (Delivery LLC), full-freight transportation of Delivery-Auto LLC (DelTruck subdivision), intracity logistics.
  • Information about the required vehicle (tonnage), data on cargo (volume), cost, and type of payment.
  • Direct contacts of Delivery logistics specialists supporting this route.
  • Filters of vehicle tonnage, date of loading, cities of loading and unloading.


UNIT 2. "My Trips". It was created to monitor trips of the carrier's vehicles. Therefore, the owner of the vehicle can see in real time whether his vehicle is being loaded, whether it left the loading point, whether the vehicle is on the road, or it has already completed the trip.  In addition, the electronic signing of a public contract and applications for each trip is available (Delivery LLC or DELIVERY-AUTO LLC).

Main features:

  • Monitoring of the statuses of trips
  • Formation of costing for invoices and reports for selected trips
  • Electronic signing of a public contract for the carriage of goods by the client and the carrier
  • Unloading data in a universal format
  • Control of payment status

UNIT 3. "My Rating". It displays in online mode the rating of the carrier and each of his drivers, which allows motivating conscientious performers to work even better, and helps to exclude irresponsible and negligent workers.

The logistics specialists of the office also evaluate the driver's work; they monitor the effectiveness of the whole trip, as well as the warehouse employees who interact with the driver only during loading and unloading. The latter assess the "punctuality" of the driver during delivery / arrival of the vehicle, the technical requirements and cleanliness of the vehicles, the professionalism of the driver.  Thus, the client is guaranteed to receive high service throughout the whole journey of the cargo.

A month after the launch, the first efficiency can be analysed. "Carrier's Personal Area has provided equal opportunities in the competition between large companies, medium vehicle enterprises and individual "owner drivers". Now, the quantity of the cargo carried by them and the corresponding profit depend on the quality of transportation, and not on the size of the enterprise. The end user gets a better service at the best price, and Delivery - more extensive control over each vehicle that carries out the trip," - the Director of the Development Department Yekateryna Grishina commented.

“Delivery” launched new mode of issuing receipts

“Delivery” announces updated possibilities on online issuing of receipts for the clients, which decreases time for delivery. Earlier the function was available only through your Personal area. Now you can use the service of online issuing of receipts when calculating the price for delivery at the website delivery-auto.com.

For this purpose you need to move to extended calculator through the tab “Calculation of value”. After entering the main information on the type of delivery, date, and transportation itinerary, you need to choose the category of sending – “Parcels and documents”, “Cargo”, “Pallets” or “Industry tariff”. If necessary, state additional data on the declared value, COD and additional services.

After calculating the price of the sending, press “Continue execution” and enter information on the sender and the addressee. On this stage you can both create receipts, and their templates. When creating receipts, the draft goes to the register of reserved receipts, which opens in the monitor window on the right. Here there are all the created but not completed receipts by the client to which they can return at any moment. For final execution, it is necessary to choose one or several at once and press “Complete”.

If the user often uses typical execution, the new mode has a function of creating templates, which are already available to be edited. Using templates considerably increases speed of issuing the receipts for the clients, freeing time for developing main business processes.

After printing of the executed receipts, the cargo is ready to be sent to the warehouse or to the addressed pickup.

New mode of executing the receipts at first will be run simultaneously with the conventional issuing at your Personal Area. The Stage of complete transition will take about two weeks for convenience of the clients.

At the nearest time issuing of receipts from mobile application “Delivery” will be launched.

Features of work of the warehouse Brovary-2

Quarterly report of Delivery: growth in all segments of transportation

The management company Delivery Group summed up the results of the third quarter of 2017 and found an effective growth in key development indicators. Thus, the amount of cargo transported by Delivery within Ukraine in July-September increased by 14%, compared to the second quarter of this year.

The company outperformed analysts' forecasts and increased the volume in each of the transportation segments. Cargoes over 30 kg - the largest segment of Delivery, increased by + 15%, the pallet segment showed an increase of + 41%, and parcels - up to + 4%.

It is considered that the main driver of cargo turnover growth in the company is the correctly built strategy: with a rapid increase in the cost of services on the market, Delivery was one of the last companies to raise its tariffs, giving customers the opportunity to carry out a painless re-planning of logistics. The increase in customers against a background of more favourable cost of services amounted to + 7.5% by April-June 2017.

Among the trends that consistently show a positive effect is the active development of the IT structure. Thus, at the heart of the Delivery advanced calculator for the calculation of the cost of delivery, there is a radically new logic with an emphasis on the type of cargo and ready-made offers for additional services. Another important issue - system work with document flow - was solved in Delivery by implementing electronic signing of documents in the Personal Area. This service greatly simplified the interaction with customers and suppliers on certification of acts of rendered services, reconciliation acts, contracts, letters and other documents.

Delivery finished the third quarter with a significant increase in the number of trips - up to 16%.  However, despite a positive result in the whole, the main customer comments in July-September were related to delays in delivery. In this regard, the main task, adopted by the company for the IV quarter of 2017, is strict fulfilment of obligations on delivery terms. For this, Delivery is already expanding its staff at the sorting warehouses and increasing the number of trunk transport.
